Joe's main goal has always been to create community in District 13, so that Cherokee citizens feel heard and validated, and non-Natives know that there is a strong Cherokee Presence in this district. Four new community groups have been created during Joe's term, and his goal for next term is to advocate for community buildings.
Paul Dudley told us that his family is on the Cherokee Nation Dawes Rolls as the very first roll numbers, 1,2, etc. He served in WWII with distinction and became a Cherokee Warrior during Joe's first 2 years on Council
The MLK Jr. Committee chose Joe to represent their 2022 theme, "Hope and Action: The Fierce Urgency of Now"
Joe cares about people, he is singularly suited for Councilor of District 13 because his personality and work ethic bring people together in ways not done before.
